The client, a builder, needed this villa to double as a live demonstration and reference project for their upcoming developments. That demanded a system that was scalable, future-proof, and simple enough for non-technical users to operate daily. Being a remote-location project, remote programming and real-time support were critical — and KNX delivered on both. Spanning 75,000 sq ft across three floors and a full outdoor escape, Ozone City brings lighting, HVAC, security, audio-video, a dedicated home theatre, energy management, and blind control together into one unified KNX ecosystem — all controlled from a single app, locally and remotely.

Insights

Ozone City runs on KNX — the worldwide open standard for home and building control. Its open protocol ensured lag-free communication between every system, while its scalability leaves the door open for future additions like weather stations, rain sensors, and expanded energy metering. Twisted-pair KNX with remote programming gave complete flexibility for a demanding, remote-location project.
